Service Description

Valiant Therapeutic Services offers training and consultation opportunities. Owner and Lead Clinician David R. Strother LCSW, LSCSW has over 16 years of mental health experience, and has treated over a thousand patients struggilng with trauma and addictions. He brings a unique mix of personal experience and a high level of clinical acumen to any engagements he provides. David has a curious background in that he is a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a former Fire Fighter, as well as a therapist. He was deployed to Afghantistan during his time in the USMC and as a Fire Fighter he spent over half a decade providing emergrency services. These expereinces provide him with a cultural competency and clinical perspective that is rare in the field today. David successfully created and helmed two successful accute inpatient hospital programs that serviced active duty military members, veterans, and first responders for almost a decade. He is regularly requested to speak and train yearly, with locations ranging from military bases and installations, behavioral health organizations, schools, colleges, and city and independant first responder agencies all over the country. David is trauma specialist and is considered a subject matter expert in the field. David offers virtual training and consultation opportunities as well. Contact us for scheduling.
